BlackBerry won't pair with device anymore via Bluetooth
I have a bluetooth enabled car that can connect with my phone and operate handsfree. For a while when I entered the car my phone would display a message asking if I wanted to pair with the car. Yesterday I accidentally selected the checkbox that read ''don't ask me again'' or something like that. Now it won't connect even if I manually tell the device to do so.
I've tried deleting the car from the phone and the phone from the car (essentially clearing them out of both) and starting over, but it didn't seem to work. They can both still ''see'' each other, but when I tell it to connect it just responds back that the connection failed.

I have a blackberry curve. I accidentally pushed the button that said"Don't ask me again". Now my phone will not connect with the hands free device. It now says "connection failed" no matter how many times I attempt to reconnect it. How can I reconnect? Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the handheld.
Tips & Warnings
Pair your Blackberry with any Bluetooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Bluetooth headset.
Remove your Bluetooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.
Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.
Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.
Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.
Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

Although the Blackberry pearl does not come with a speakerphone, you can still set up this function by using a Bluetooth device.
HERE IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Power on your Blackberry using the On/Off button in the lower right-hand corner of the device
Turn on Bluetooth
Find the Bluetooth option. In the main menu, select "device options."
Enable Bluetooth radio. Click on the trackwheel to scroll down until you see the option "Enable Bluetooth". Select this function (click the trackwheel) to turn on Bluetooth compatibility. If you have completed this step correctly, you will now see a "Bluetooth icon" on your Blackberry screen. If you want, you can later turn off Bluetooth by repeating Steps 1 to 3 and then selecting "disable Bluetooth".
Pair your Blackberry with a Bluetooth speakerphone
Power on your Bluetooth speakerphone device using its On/Off switch or button.
Find the Bluetooth option in the main menu by again selecting "device options" and then using the trackwheel to scroll down until you see Bluetooth. Select this by clicking the trackwheel.
Add your Bluetooth device. Click on the trackwheel to scroll down until you see "Add Device." Then click on the trackwheel to select this function.
Enter the name and passkey of your Bluetooth device. When prompted, scroll down with the track wheel until you see the name of your Bluetooth device. Your Blackberry automatically detect your Bluetooth speakerphone if it is within 10 meters. If it does not, enter the name of the device, then type in the passkey provided by the manufacturer of the speakerphone.
Enter the passkey on your Bluetooth speakerphone. Your Blackberry and Bluetooth speakerphone can now communicate with one another.
To use the speaker during a call all you need to do is;
Dial a number and hit the send key. Make sure that your Bluetooth speakerphone is on, and that you have already set your Blackberry to "Enable Bluetooth." If you see the "Bluetooth icon" you have already done this step.
Activate your Bluetooth device. When the call has connected, click on the trackwheel until you see the option "Bluetooth Device". Then click on the trackwheel to activate the Bluetooth function. Your Blackberry will now route your call to the Bluetooth Speakerphone.
Turn on the speakerphone. Depending on which Bluetooth Speakerphone you have purchased, you may need to click on the "speakerphone" button to enable this function. Once the speakerphone is on, you may continue with your phone call.

When using your S9 for the first time, follow these steps to pair (connect) to your Phone: Important: If you are pairing separate Bluetooth devices for handsfree calls and streaming music, it is recommended that you pair your S9 with your handsfree device (phone) first. 1 Ensure the Bluetooth feature is enabled (turned on) in your phone.
2 Turn on your S9 by pressing and holding (|) button until the indicator light flashes three times in blue. After a few moments, the indicator light will be steadily lit in blue to indicate your S9 is in pairing mode. 3 From your device, perform a Bluetooth device discovery/search. . When pairing your S9, use the following steps to perform a device discovery from your phone: After accessing the Settings Menu, go to bluetooth. to add a new device, tap [New]. 1. Tap [New] key to search the device that can be connected and which is within range. The phone lists Bluetooth devices it finds. b Select Motorola S9. c Select OK or Yes to pair your S9 with your phone. d Enter the passkey: 0000 e Select OK.
When your S9 successfully pairs and connects to your device, the indicator light displays blue with 10 quick purple flashes. If wearing your S9, you will also hear an audio tone indicating successful pairing and connection to your device. 4 To verify your S9 has successfully established a handsfree calling connection with your phone, dial a phone number you want to call and press the Send key on your phone. When successfully connected, you hear ringing on your S9. A Bluetooth Handsfree Phone (HFP) connection is now established with your phone
This might solve your problem; go on your blackberry and check in your bluetooth device list for your Jag's handsfree once you've found check the properties of it make sure it says "yes" under the trusted option now if that doesn't work then you need to check in the same properties if "encryption" is enabled if not enable it and you might not have to manully enter it all the time now if it already says enable you could try to disable encryption just to see if that helps. If you have any more questions or more information on this situation just post back and I will gladly help you some more.
