I bought Samsung LCD 40 inch LNT4061FX/XAA about 1 year ago. So I don't have any warrently left. It was working fine until one day two white lines came up and TV stopped working. I disconnected everything and reconnect all the plugs but nothing on screen or any sound. After few seconds it try to turn it off itself and after 10 seconds or so it try to restart itself and it keep trying to start. Only thing I see is blanking LCD light. Any idea how I can fix this. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem PLUS more... My TV had the on off issues that grew into dots on the screen and then just a black screen and now all I have are vertical lines all across the screen. My TV is only 1yr7mo and guess what, no warrenty. I did get a nice message: I am sorry that you are having difficulties with your television. That is frustrating when you can?t use your product.
I was able to find a purchase of a 40? Samsung TV purchased on 8/20/07. This television has a 1 year manufacturer?s warranty, so it would be expired at this time.
If you do need repairs, you can still get them, but there is not a warranty or service plan we could charge it to. You would be required to pay for any repair services. I do apologize.
