Unable to turn on my labtop (gateway 7326GZ) computer.

Hi, if it is under warranty return it to Gateway for service. If it is not visit a repairer and get them to replace the damaged parts, it is a little tricky to attempt as an end user

go to net search Gateway 7320GZ; 7322GZ; 7325GZ; 7326GZ; 7330GH; 7330G service maintenance manual pdf download and save file open file and follow instructions on diss assembly ,it can take awhile to find the manual though ,that is what i usually do when working on any laptop.

Turn on, hold F8 button down until boot menu appears. Download Norton Boot Recovry to disc from another computer. Install in ur CD/DVD drive. Boot ur computer. Or install ur operating system disc in cCD rom drive. Reboot computer, hold F2 button down, modify BIOS boot sequence so CD Rom in 1st boot device. Boot computer, repair or reinstall operating system.

You may turn off the computer using the power button, then turn it back on using the power button. Under normal circumstances, turning the computer off by pressing the power button is not the optimal choice. But under your circumstances, it is an acceptable option.

From a cold boot after you push the start button start tapping f11 it should start your recovery console if it works give me a vote

Please remove the back side of the backcover .Once reached at motherborad you can replace the c-moss battery.

Is there any beep? If yes then what kind of beep?

to sort this problame you should take the notebook computer to repair shop this is a technations job and need to be fixed by a expert . Trevor
