Check to make sure you didn't accidentally move the locking switch on the SD card to the locked position. There will be a switch on the side of the card. One side of the switch says locked, (or has picture of a locked lock) and the other side says unlocked, or has a picture of an unlocked lock. Try it out.

I have a Nikon D5300. I can see the photo count number increasing, but I cannot view the images and they are not going on the SD card. Where are they? The SD card is not full.

many small Nikon cameras have memory to store images ON THE CAMERA. If you have a memory card installed that the CAMERA CAN READ it will put images on the card. if the memory card is corrupted the camera will not use it.

First Backup all IMAGES on Memory Card to COMPUTER make sure you saved ALL images. This is IMPORTANT.

After you SAVED all images you PUT Memory card back in camera and FORMAT it (Format is in TOOL Menu that looks like a wrench)

Now if you can take an images and it saves to memory card you are done. To see if they go to MEMORY CARD. Turn off camera and remove MEMORY CARD and Check.

If it STILL does not work you may have a defective memory card.

Resetting the Moultrie A-5 Game Camera

HARD RESET TAKE OUT BATTERIES SD CARD PUSH THE ON OFF BUTTON FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS LEFT EVERYTHING OUT FOR 2-5 MINUTES. THEN PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN TURN THE CAMERA ON IT SHOULD SAY NO CARD. THEN TURN IT OFF THEN PUT THE SD CARD BACK AND TRY IT IN THE DARK AREA TO SEE IF THE FLASH WILL GO OFF. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK WILL NEED TO SEND IT IN FOR REPAIRS.

Hi! i have a canon powershot SD750 digital elph. I was on a school trip and we needed to take many pictures for this big project that counts for most of the course, and when i got home and put the sd card...

Have you tried putting your card in a card reader on a machine running Windows or any linux distro? Just to make sure that none systems see the pictures. If that is the case, you should find someone who does data recovery, all is maybe not lost. I'm sorry for not being able to help more :-/

My camera won't let me take any pictures or look at them. Everytime I turn it on it says memory card error, card locked. i've tried moving the locked switch on the side of the card up and down but that...

Okay I think there is a sequence of errors that have happened.
According to my specification of your camera it works with an XD Picture Card NOT an SD card.
First I'm going to assume you put a new memory card in your camera to take the pictures of your "Art GCSE" If this is so then the card needed formatted to the camera (your camera manual may call this initializing) and you have inserted the correct card type. Also the maximum size of the XD card that can be used in your camera is a 512MB. Again if this was the case the camera wouldn't "see" the memory card. I'm sure the camera would have malfunctioned before you started taking your project pictures given warnings or shut down. Can you turn on the camera and see your pictures in the "Play Back" mode? Are you sure you have listed the correct camera make and model. It sounds to me as if we are talking two different cameras here because the XD Memory Card doesn't have a lock the SD memory card does The SD memory card doesn't fit in your Fuji FinePix A350 camera Also the camera you have listed here doesn't have an internal memory it has to work with a memory card Just below here is a link to a PDF Manual

Can you put the memory card that you feel has the pictures on it and use the camera Play Back mode and see pictures?

Cant take pictures with memory card in

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

You have to make sure that the sd memory card you were using, hasn't been in another camera. If it was, your camera read the memory card differently, and it didn't show you had taken any. If this was the case, put the sd card back into the camera you took it from, and hopfully it will show on that.

If I wasn't even close, put you sd memory card in your computer, and hopefully, they will show up on there.

I'm sorry if I didn't get what you were saying, and didn't even answer you problem. I hope this helps.

Memory card error is common problems in various sd cards and cf cards. I took a closer look at my little SD memory card. It has a sliding lock on it to protect data. Check to see if the card works when you slide that lock up or down. Read more about memory card:
