You may have a defective memory card. Have you tried it in a different device? Do you have a card reader on your printer or computer? If so, try inserting the card and see if your computer can read the card, and write files to the card.

Camera saying memory full but card brand new

Not only the size is important, the manual says SD max 2 GB.
But even a 1GB SDHC card won't work, because the camera is not compatible with SDHC and SDXC.
They used to make SD cards up to 4 GB, but most new cards from 1 GB and up are SDHC and above 32 GB the cards are SDXC. Older camera's can't handle these cards, although they look the same.

I have a brand new SD card - when I insert the card to the camera the camera says the card is full- I put the card in another camera and it works fine- any suggestions?

Hi

The Kodak EasyShare C330 is quite an old model now and the camera has a maximum SD card capacity of 1Gb.

It would sound like you are using a card with a higher capacity on the camera but the other, un-named camera, can accept higher cards.

Hope this helps

Brand new memory card

I have the same problem with the same camera. I checked other sites and it seems that the C330 takes only SD cards up to a max of 1GB. It won't read SDHC cards and it won't read SD cards greater than 1GB.

Wont accept a new 2GB memory card, its saying memory full.

Unfortunately, this camera will only accept up to a maximum of 1GB for a memory card.

So you will need to use a smaller memory card.

It's not in the documentation, but it should be.

New 2 GB Memory cards say cards full when installed

The SD card may have to be reformated. You should do this in the camera you want to use the SD card with. Do not format the card with your computer.

In you manual or on the menu of your camera there is a "Format" procedure. follow that and your camera will work again (REMEMBER) if you have images on the SD card down load them before you format the card.

Once you down load the images from your camera you should reformat the card to clear it in order to shoot more images.

I have just bought a Samsung S1070 Digital Camera an placed a 1gb memory card in it. I have now placed a brand new 2gb memory card in it and it instantly it tells me that the memory is full. Thanks Ama

Hi
In this case try formating the memory card. first put in the memory card to camera, turn on the camera and connect it ur computer. it will show up as removable disc under my computer. Right click on the removable disc and click on format. hopefully it should work.

The camera doesn't accept new memory card put into the camera

Sorry that this answer is far too late to be of use to you, but it may help others searching for advice with the same fault. I only stumbled across your unanswered question by accident.

8GB is an SDHC card. Your camera was designed to use the earlier SD cards instead with a maximum 1GB capacity.

Memory Card

make sure that the memory card you bought is a secure digital (SD) memory card. the kodak memory you have might not be an SD card.
