Hi i have a 40 samsung tv.My grandson Accidently hit the screen with the wii remote ,How much would it cost to repair ??

you will most likely be better off buying a new t.v. the cost of having it fixed will cost way more than you paid for it. sorry!

U can buy a damage tv with no prob.with the LCD screen transfer the pcb to mother board to the that tv. the best and cheapest way u can go.No way can replace the LCD screen cheap by replacing a new one.

Kris it sounds like your T-con board could be failing
the t-con board is located in the top middle of the unit
try reseating the cable going to the board if you feel comfortable if not have it done by a tech

SOURCE: Samsung HPR4252 with red horizontal lines accross the screen

I just had my HP-R4252 repaired on 12.05.09 with a similar problem. The picture is covered in horizonal, broken lines and the color is predominately red. They lines are grouped together in large bands across the screen.

The tech replaced the Y-Buffer boards (Up) and (Low) in about 20 minutes.

Unfortunatly no.. you will need to either live with it or replace the entire LCD panel. You can have it repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one.After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.
