Norton 360 Invalid Product Key

I have Norton 360 which is able to protect 3 computers. I have only protected one, and have been trying to protect my laptop.

I have downloaded the program, but when I try to activate it with my product key, it says my product key is invalid, when it is not.

I have typed it in countless times, and have even copied and pasted it from my Norton account website. I have tried phoning Norton but there is a thirty minute waiting time and I did not get anybody at the other end of the phone.

How can I solve this problem?

My laptop is brand new, it is a Toshiba and has Windows Vista Home Premium.

    I have a product key for mcafee antivirous which i bought as part of a package when i bought my laptop in Dec '13. I am now trying to activate it and it is telling me that i have inserted the wrong info from the card when I havent. I have tried this at least five times

Go to the command prompt and type the regedit
>left click HKEY_Local_Machine>software>symantec>ccpdlcdelete the kstore>now try to activate the product

You don't have to necessarily do anything to activate any Norton product. Once the product or program has been installed or downloaded to your computer, it is an automatic process ending in a request that you register with Norton and you do so by providing your e-mail and possibly your product key. Once it has finished installing, the anti-virus protection is then working to safeguard your computer.

I didn't get my 1 year protection of norton 360 version 4.0 for my netbook,,,instead i just get the 30 days trial protection,,, how can i get my 1 year norton??
You need to activate your Norton program with the product key or the renewal code that you purchased for an year.

To enter the renewal code or the serial, please open your Norton product and click on the "RENEW" or "ACTIVATE" or "SUBSCRIBE" button on the bottom of your product and enter it there to activate your one year subscription.

It says its off how do I turn it back on
1. Start Norton 360.
2 In the Norton 360 main window, in the upper-right corner, click Tasks & Settings.
3 In the Tasks & Settings window, on the right, click Change Advanced Settings.
4 In the Advanced Settings window, click Virus & Spyware Protection Settings.
5 In the Automatic Protection Settings tab, check Turn on Auto-Protect.
6 Restart the computer.

On January 4, 2010 I paid renewal of my Norton Account. My Bank cleared it on 05/01/2010. I paid $59,99. I received confirmation by e.mail of the payment(03/01/2010). Product Norton 360 ...BUT UNTIL NOW...
With the confirmation email you should have received a new key to input in Norton. Use it.

Trying to put norton on another pc keeps coming invalid key
I think may be its due to the you are trying to active Norton 360 or Nav with the product key of nis or trying to activate with expierd product key

1.you need to remove existing Norton program with Norton removal tool
2. Download and run Nis2010

to download Norton removal tool go to www.norton.com/nrt or www.syamantec.com/auotools
Download and run the first tool

Once we finished the un installation we need to download and run Norton Internet Security 2010

Anti-Virus paid for Norton says my Product Key is invalid
If it's expired it means you have to get a new one, most anti virus software are sold for a limited amount of time. Either way Norton is no good, I run Avast free edition and I never had any problems, you should get it too, and if you feel like having even better protection you can buy avast for life for only 65 CAD, which I bet is less than Norton.
