Every manual (including the one that came with the phone) seems to only instruct how to set the date/time on the Ericsson LIP-8024D, but not the Ericsson LIP-8012D. As we've started daylight savings time I need to update the time display on the handsets in our office.
After selecting 1, type in the date mm/dd/yy (it doesn't appear on the screen) then press hold/save. Then type in the time again it won't appear on the screen press hold/save. It will then return to the main screen with the correct time and date. Hope this helps.
From the system attendant's phone try pressing the Trans/Pgm button, then 041, display will show MM/DD/YY-if not changing the date press hold/save to move to the time setting, should see HH/MM, enter time in 24 hour mode, then press hold/save
What do I do after selecting option 1 for date/time? The phone doesn't respond to any buttons?
Hi there I had the same problems, after selecting 1, type in the month/date/year and then press hold and save, then the set time should come up and you do the same, the numbers you press dont come up on the screen, but when you press hold/save after the time it will go back to the main menu with the correct date and time. Hope this helps

Its one in the same phone/manual!
Only difference is the 24D has 12 more buttons and Bluetooth.
Press Menu then 5(Attendant) then 1 for time and date.
Or connect to your phone system (that runs the phones) , assuming its an IPEC somewhere in the server/phone room and use web browser for admins. You local vendor should be able to assist you further.
