Go into the setup menu and scroll to "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. This procedure might work. If you can't get into the menu because of malfunctioning buttons, try a manual reset...remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...insert the card first and then the battery...turn it on.

Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into your computer's memory card reader if your pc has one. Then your pc will open the files and you can copy them to your hard drive. If your pc doesn't have a card reader, you can buy one - or just wait to order the sync cord from Panasonic.

you'r menu should have a reset setting, there are 2 menu's 1 when you'r ready to take a picture & 1 when you'r viewing you taken pictures
