I am having the same problem! We got a DigiHome television then all of a sudden (I was playing on xbox 360) the video went off whilst the sound still working! I now cannot get it to work! It is connected to a Pay as you View meter - does this have anything to do with it?

Is this happened either watching a tv channel or even watching dvd movies?. and then does the display only white screen or a totally black screen?.

Yes you can provided your TV has the compatible connections available with the sound bar. If you buy a sound bar with a digital optical audio connection you will need the same connection available on your TV. So check the available connections on your TV before you buy.

I have a problem with the background sound being louder than the voice sound on my Bravia 32 inch television whilst it is on free view. If I have the TV on Virgin cable ( we have both ). The sound is
Scene Select: Allows you to easily adjust your TV to the most suitable picture
and sound settings based on the scenes for the best quality result for the
contents genre you are watching (page 20 of your manual).

Additionally do not place the back closer than 3" to the wall, (stand,) 4" on either side and nothing closer than 12" from the top of the TV.

This is mainly for dissipating the heat that the TV creates, but this will also impact how the sound travels thoughout the space.

First plug a other thing in the plug on the wall if it comes on then you know it's the tv power is a problem it could be that the power supply's has popped also there should be a button on the side of the tv some ware press it in or on make sure there

The sound on my Digihome TV keeps going off and only returns by switching the set off then back on again. Any solution ideas please
Digihome is not a brand unto itself. It is manufactured by a Foreign Country (I believe it's in Turkey) by the name of Tesco. Very large territories for sales in Europe of the Digihome label and a half dozen others. You will probably have to find a TV shop that will look at it for you as they have no service nor even their own. website.

sounds like the sound board is not getting the proper power. would check the power board for worn out capacitors or leaking ones. cheap fix if you know how to use a soldering iron.

yes you need to connect audio out from the tv to audio in on the dvd surround. you need the red/white phono to phono leads, simply connect together and select audio (av,au) on the input selection.
