The page keeps refreshing but nothing else happens. should i upload the video as a flv file?
Right here is one of the best ways to do it:
first go onto google and type in something like "download prism video file converter"
then download this (you download it so you can use it over and over again!!)
next once its downloaded open it up
the it will say "add file"
Add your .wmv file then at the bottom left of prism it says "select output" or something like that
then select what you want to be for instance form .wmv to .avi or what ever you want really
then your done go to facebook and upload the video you converted
ive done this myself and it hasnt failed me yet!!! :)
So i was having the same trouble as most of yall, but i figured out a way to get it to upload. first upload it to youtube. then signout, find your video on the search and download it into realplayer. after that open it in the facebook uploader and you should be good. it worked for me!
Convert your video to MP4 before uploading the video to Facebook. Use Tenorshare Video Converter to help you.
Facebook not allowed .flv file , so, u convert format and than try uplode ...
Well, i think i have figured it out, you can use iorgsoft video converter to convert wmv, flv to avi or mpeg-4 then upload to facebook, it worked for mac. just download a free copy of video converter then run a test, you can make it.

I have the same problem. Video was uploaded but then disappeared
same issue freezing
same prob : video upload, and then disapear...
and I received a mail : "your video couldn't be processed
Same problem!!!
Yup, same problem. I thought it was just me until I googled it and found several have the same problem. It doesn't seem to matter if its the required size or smaller, it still appears to be "working" but it just runs and runs until it quits with no upload happening. Then I tried uploading at different times and get this weird "connectin interrupted" error message. I'm wondering if its a "flash recorder" problem but I don't know how to tell if I have a flash recoreder installed. I don't want to just download something and how would I know what is the best kind to have anyway? I've tried to upload a video on other sites and have the same problem so its not just with Facebook....seems to be something we have in common but is more related to our computer software. The question remains, how do I know if I have flash recorder installed/uploaded?.
I too have the same problem. Except sometimes it will load like 5% of the video, then just keep refreshing and not go anymore. I don't get because i loaded some videos around Christmas with no problems. Internet security settings maybe?
im having a similar problem, its goes through everthing then say its not proccessed
Today is January 26th. My wmv (a format accepted by FaceBook, loads, it tells me it is succeddfully loaded, then I get an e-mail moments later telling me it is either the wrong format or some other crock. The video goes on YouTube and MySpace without a hitch. It goes into my blogs...and on any web site...but FACEBOOK.
They are probably running out of bandwidth and can't tell us they are not taking any more videos!

When sharing video on Facebook, you are recommended to use the MP4 and MOV format, following are a complete list of the video formats that can be uploaded to Facebook:
3g2, 3gp, 3gpp, asf, avi, dat, divx, dv, f4v, flv, m2ts, m4v, mkv, mod, mov, mp4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, mts, nsv, ogm, ogv, qt, tod, ts, vob, wmv
Sometimes, even your video format are included in Facbook supported ist, you may still encounter other uploading issues such as large video file size, long video length, wrong codec, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, etc.
