If you could use this:
=IF($C$4=0,0,$C$4*0.000927+1.3*4*$D$2)

Make sure that the cell is formatted as a number, not as text. (Right-click the cell, format cell, number, choose NUMBER.)

SOURCE: formula help

You should either use this formula to remove 46% from 328.06. The first option is =B1-(B1*C2) wherein you should deduct 46% from B1 or just compute for the 54% of B1 which is =B1*56%.

If the column is absolute, then use the $ before the first character and if the row is absolute use the $ before the second character in your cell designation. If BOTH column and row are absolute, use the $ before both the column and row character.

Examples: $A1, A$1, $A$1

800 sq ft equal how maney linear ft

It depends on the width of the individual boards. In 12" width you will need 800 lineal feet.A formula you can use is Width in ft ...such as (width in inches divided by 12) such as 8in divided by 12 = .66666 ..............then , in this example...800 divided by .66666= 1,200.012 if using any width board, just find the decimal equivalent for the width , then divide the total Sq.Ft by this decimal equivalent to obtain your answer in lineal feet needed. Good Luck

What's the conversion formula for sq. ft. to sq. meters?

The square foot is the smaller unit of area, so you will have to divide a measurement in square feet by the number of square feet per square meter. Since there are 10.76 square feet per square meter, divide by that value.

Obviously, to convert from square meters to square feet, you would multiply by that value.

1 square meter is 10.76391 square feet.

Steps to figure out formulas in excel

Hello this is Baris,
If you forget about the numbers and start naming your cells you can figure out your own formulas... Example :)

You buy apples, and you pay $2 per piece

in this case you have 2 numbers to find out how much you will pay.

price per apple
quantity

you have 3 apples you pay 6 dollars very simple right. 2 times 3.

Same thing in excel but this time you will just say price times quantity and excel will do the calculation for you.

Lets name your cells
Type in A1 Price
Type in B1 Quantity
Type in C1 Cost

Now, Column C is your calculation area.
Type in A2 2 (price for apples)
Type in B2 3 (quantity of apples)
Type in C2 =A2*C2 (price times quantity)

Now on, you don't have to calculate anything. You can change you price and quantity, cost will change by itself. Because the value in that cell is now related to other values in A2 and B2. I hope this gives you a starting point.

Need to know the formula for increasing a $3500 revenue by 0.005% per month for 24 consequtive months. how do i preform this with one formula to avoid entering it 24 different times. i know that the answer...

If the column is absolute, then use the $ before the first character and if the row is absolute use the $ before the second character in your cell designation. If BOTH column and row are absolute, use the $ before both the column and row character.

Excel formula.....

Let's start with the 1st equation. I assume you want to be able to recalculate by changing the number of pages.

Put 65 in cell a1.
360 in b1
In C1, put the formula =a1/b1 that's your book thickness
In D1, put .02 for the cover
In E1, put the formula =C1+D1

Now you can change A1, B1,or D1 and the Total thickness gets recalculated automatically. Be careful not to type numbers into C1 or E1, or you lose the formula.

The same for the other equations - a cell for each number ("variable") and another cell for calculations.

Once you've verified the results, then you can get fancy and add titles above each field to make it easy to remember what goes where.

You may need to change the cell format to control the number of decimal places, or thousands commas. Right click on a cell and select format to see the choices you have.

Keep a backup copy of the spreadsheet in case someone (not you, of course) makes a mistake and overwrites the formula cells. You can also look into "protecting" cells to keep them from being changed.

Hope that helps.

Excel formula

the formulae for the surface area of round disc is
pi * r * r
where pi=3.14 and r =radious of disc= diametre/2

for this 1st u have 2 calculate the radious of the disc that is
180/2=90mm
then convert it to  m by dividing 1000 ,so radious=90/1000=0.09 m
finally calculate the area= 3.14 * 0.09 * 0.09=0.025434 sq metres
for 38 disc multiply 38 with the above area that is
0.025434 * 38=0.966492 sq metres

in excel 2007  u can do it more easily by going 2 formulas tab.
Under formla tab click on engineering formula and  then convert
here u can convert from mm to m
after converting use the above formula i just told u.
