The I.R. 2135Ti or TiMAX has some known issues with the trigger o-ring (item# 22A) swelling, the throttle valve (item# 28D) bending or breaking, and the throttle valve seal (item# 28E) wearing out or deteriorating. Procedure wise you should not be able to remove the trigger without first removing the inlet bushing assembly (item# 26) the reason is that the reverse valve (item# 24) keeps the throttle valve from tipping forward and releasing the trigger, there is a slot for the stem of the throttle valve to slide into.
Follow this link to the parts list:
http://manualarchive.ingersollrandproducts.com/ir_pdfs/Tools/Vehicle%20Service%20Tools/Air%20Impact%20Tools/45534070_ed3.pdf
When reassembling the tool first install the inlet bushing assembly and then install the trigger, make sure to lube the o-ring before inserting.

Porter Cable Brad Nailer - Firing without pressure

The nose tip is most likely stuck in the ready to fire position from too much force being applied when nailing. These guns are small and sensitive to forces being applied. Try bumping it to see if the nose tip is retracting and compressing with each bump. Unplug and unload the gun before trying to pull the tip of the nose to retract if it is stuck. Check for foreign objects obstructing the trigger and safety mechanism

How to clean your air brush to keep it like new

Taking care of your tools and supplies is an essential in their upkeep and increasing the life of your tools. When you neglect to take care of your tools they will get clogged or ruined and eventually will stop working. This same principle applies to your air brush gun, if you don't take care of it and clean in properly after each use it will get clogged and will stop working.

After each use you want to make sure that you get all the paint out, to do this you should add a little bit of warm water to the cup (where the paint goes in) and then pour it out into the trash. You must be sure NOT to use hot water because it could melt or warp small plastic pieces inside the gun.

Fill a bowl or tub with clean warm water, connect the air brush to the tube, plug it in and turn it on. Placing the needle and the cup under the water and pull the trigger. Run water through it for a few minutes to make sure that no color comes out of it. If paint does come out of the gun you will need to change the water.

When the water runs clear through the gun take it out of the water and fill the cup with clean water. While placing your finger over the needle cap pull the trigger. This will make the air flow backwards through the gun causing bubbles to form in the cup. If there is paint stuck in the gun it will come up in the bubbles in this step. Pour the water out and place the needle and cup in water again and pull the trigger.

When you feel that it is clean, take the gun out of the water and spray your gun on a white napkin or paper towel to make sure there is no color in the spray. If no color comes out you are all clean and ready to use your airbrush gun again.

On. CP776 impact wrench I have removed the roll pin to acess the throttle valve seal. What would be the correct method to remove these air inlet side parts after the roll pin has bern removed?

try this parts blowup and see if it give you any ideas? i see one roll pin and it is holding in the air inlet guts to the impact gun. i do not see a pin holding the actual trigger assy. item 43 may be the part holding in the trigger and what your describing is you removed the air inlet valve pin. if that is the case then you have to pull the valve out with pin pliers/needle nose/bird bill pliers. here is the link to the parts blowup for you good luck. How do you change the clutch out?

1st Take the chain and bar off.
2nd Take the flywheel COVER off (pull cord side of your saw. )
3rd you will need strong needle nose pliers or the clutch tool that was made for this project.
You will also need a deep well 3/4" socket and 3/8" ratchet ( do not try this with a 1/4 rachet and socket)
Make sure your ratchet is set to turn right (or On POSITION) ( Your Clutch has left handed thread.)
4th Put your socket ( with ratchet attatched) on the flywheel nut. ( if the flywheel nut comes off. put it back on using blue locktight and use a rag to hold the flywheel )
5th Put your needle nose plyers in the grooves of the center clutch ( they will look like 1/2 moons on either side of the center piece.
6th turn the ratchet and hold the plyers still or if you have help( recommend a friends help)
7th. If the clutch does not come loose you may have to put an impacted in it.

Once the clutch is off, be sure to look at things carefully and pay attention to the positioning of everything (washers and oiler and oiler cover.
Make sure you clean your oiler ( I use starting fluid) so it flows easily.
Reasemble using steps 6 through 1 ( do not use an impact to reasemble)

I made a tool to fit on the clutch and used a impacted while holding the flywheel. ( take a wash rag or small towel and grab the flywheel. useing the tool you can easily remove the clutch

Model 734 1/2 in impact.wont blow air ,wont rotate,no tension on trigger.feel like problem may somehow be in trigger housing....

Yes, if you take it apart you'll find that the trigger isn't allowing air to pass through to the veins of the impact wrench. It's a relatively simple mechanism, where maybe something is broken inside.

If it were blowing air but the veins were stuck, I would say, lubricate it. But, if no air goes through it at all, then the trigger housing houses the problem part.

Have you tried to disassemble the air wrench?

My 1/2" CP air wrench just blows air thru when I pull the trigger

I have ran into this many times, even though you keep it oiled dirt can and will get inside. what you need to do is unscrew the 4 alen head bolts and pull the nose off. You will see a shaft that looks kind of like a crankshaft with 5 or 6 flat carbon fiber plates sitting loosely in groves around the shaft. pull those out and clean them with solvent and check them for damage or wear. clean the inside of the gun with solvent or brake cleaner, reassemble and it should work fine. If the plates need replaced then you should be able to order them from a tool supplier, and they are not that much.

When pulling trigger air blows but does not fire

This problem can happen because of several reasons.
Most likely the driver stuck, and not able to move.

First with the tool disconnected from the air supply check to see if there any nails jammed in the nose piece.

If the driver is stuck down, try to push it up. Will it move?

If there are no problems visible at this point you will have to open the tool up, and see if anything looks out of place.

To examine the inside of the tool, unscrew the 4 bolts on the cap of the tool. Gently remove the cap, it may be spring loaded but once the bolts are loosened, there is no reason to be afraid of the parts springing out. Be careful not to let the parts that are in the head cap fall out. Also take care not to rip the gasket. Keep in mind, the less parts inside that you disturb the better so be careful.

If the piston driver does move. Does it move freely?

Sometimes when a driver hits a very hard knot in the wood, or if a nail is hit. The thin driver may bend. If it is moving but with resistance. Use a thin object to push the driver upward from the nose. It will come out of the head cap end.

Check to see if the driver is straight and square to the piston. If it is bent, you may need to replace it. Sometimes you may be able to bend it back enough to allow the piston driver to move freely.

If this solves your problem. To reassemble:

Replace the driver in the correct position. Replace the gasket if it is loose. If parts came out of the head cap, reposition them into the cap. Replace the head cap on to the tool. Replace the bolts, stagger as you tighten them to depress spring loaded parts evenly.

Hook the tool up to your air supply check for air leaks, and fire the tool.

If the driver does not move: Examine to see what is seizing the piston and reply back.

I hope this works!
