Simpson washing machine do not spin but motor seems spinnig

Could be a random control board failure

i would suspect the motor brushes or something related too the motor
silly question but you do have spin switched on
i dont know your specific machine
but most modern spin speed adjustment knobs
have a setting 'no spin'
ive fixed four last week same thing the wee old lady and three familys .. same issue spin simply switched off

it is worth having it properly diagnosed first before making a decision to spend money
could be a program board or start run capacitor

Check the door lock. It is probably faulty.

Possible that the motor has failed and it has developed a leak to the body which seems to be felt over the machine, Isolate the motor and test the external voltage presence.. if absent it can be related to the motor.

Hi Carlee just read your posting.Now the Simpson Eziset machines come in top and front loader versions.Which type is yours?Please reply with this additional information and I will help you rectify this fault.

i've got a simpson aquapulse 713 and just noticed that there is oil on the floor, seems to me it happens after it has spin. Any ideas?

Having the same problem. Any ideas at all? It's really frustrating.

mw511 fills with water but cylinder isnt spinnig and when it stops filling nothing happens. However sometimes it will go complete cycle ans a noise can be heard on spin cycle even though it is not spinning. As thoiugh the motor is not engaging with the cylinder
