"No Connection"... My first attempt with HDMI SUUUUCKS- HELP

I own a Samsung HL-P5063WX/XAA (for a few years now) & have finally decided to make the most of my HD-ready DLP by experimenting with Blu-Ray, DVD Upconvertor, etc. I purchased a Samsung Blu-Ray with HDMI cable 2 days ago (from Best Buy)- it worked beautifully for 15 minutes, then I turned it off. I turned it on again an hour later, but suddenly "No Connection" is available. Have tried all troubleshooting tips (relating to the Blu-Ray, assuming that was the problem) and spoke to tech (who had me repeat same steps), but to no avail. I decided that a day & a half was enough time wasted, so I returned the player & HDMI cord to BB, decided to exchange it for a MUCH LESS expensive Toshiba DVD Up-convertor (along with a new HDMI cord)... still experiencing the exact same problem. No Connection. Have used canned air to clean the once-used HDMI port (thinking dust could be the issue), but no improvement.

For grins, I hooked the Toshiba up to a new, small Samsung LCD TV in my office (via HDMI) & it works beautifully. Any suggestions how to address so that I can use it with my big Samsung DLP-TV?? Any help would be VERY APPRECIATED (I'm totally frustrated!!)

The connector board inside the tv is the one has circuit traces already broken. there is nothing outside the tv can be done. The HDMI conector is high end technology solder. finally the solution is to replace the conector board inside the tv.

46" Samsung LNT4661FX /XAA LCD TV volume problem.

If sound on one HDMI and not the others---all three should go to the same board--either something is not connected inside or the replacement board is the issue---Samsung is known for making boards with the same part number on them that from week to week have different features or do not have certain features.

Try to trace where the working input goes and if to same board as other two you know what to suspect.

Remove projector assembly and clean out dust from cooling fans inside of it. It will require some disassembly. Then have capacitors checked on the power supply.

Samsung TV will turn on and off several times, then stay on.

First, need to check the power bar(if you use).
then. if don't use power bar, need to check the power board.

The Samsung Television has 3 HDMI inputs, You would connect an HDMI cable from the Cable box to your television and go into a menu on the television to select the appropriate HDMI input.

New cable boxes should have the HDMI connection.

Most Flat screen televisions I've seen have an input button on the television itself. Pushing it should allow you to switch between inputs.

When I switch to component cable it works just fine.
