Green power light want stop blinking

When i turn the tv. on instead of the green power light blinking until it is solid. It continues to blink even after being on for 30mins. There is no picture, no sound and the back of the tv is still cool

Problem is with one of the circut boards in the tv, It will have to be replaced.

SOURCE: Green light blinks but no sound no picture

Power surge will knock out picture and sound if you don't have a power strip. Found out from Best Buys when purchasing another LCD TV. They have a warrenty against such problems.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 HDTV that suddenly wont turn on. Just has a green blinking light when you hit the power button. Any ideas?

I found this on another website, most likely it is your power supply capacitors.

Press the "reset" button and hold for 10 seconds .... Does TV turn on and blinking green light turn to solid green.

Unplug the TV from it's power source for various times, ranging between 5 minutes and 24 hours..... Does blinking green light continue upon plugging in the TV.

Disconnect ALL devices from the TV; DVD, Tuner, Cable Box, unplug the TV for various duration times .... Does blinking green light continues upon plugging in the TV.

Press Power and Menu buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

Press Power and Display buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

Insure that no front panel buttons are inadvertently stuck in an "engaged" position.

Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:

DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
DM Module is defective.
EEPROM Board failure
Power Supply failure.

I have a HDTV 1080 and the power to our neighborhood went out over the night and now the green light on the TV just blinks. I can't get the TV to turn on. I have reset the system reset button on the from...

try this ... if there is a reset button on your 'front' control panel..maybe 2 - 3 positions to the left of your blinking timer light..
try inserting the tip of a mechanical pencil or tip of a straighten paperclip into the 'tiny hole' of th ereset button ...hold pressure on that button until yout blinking light starts blinking RAPIDLY .. this
rapid blinking should continue for several seconds or a minute.
then it should stop .. may even go off ... now ..hopefully.. you will be able to turn your set on
