Error 55.00.00 DC Controller Error
SOURCE: hp color laserjet printer gives 55.1 error
Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the device to initialize.

you may have this resolved already or possibly you just decided to purchase a new printer or have it serviced somewhere.. so if someone happens to care:
Remove fuser
remove front top cover by removing stay on leftside and screw on right side slide cover to right and remove
remove rear cover 2 screws
remove top rear cover 3 screws along forward edge use flat blade screw driver to lift sides
remove left side cover 2 screws and 2 clips
remove metal cover 10 screws (3 left 2 top 2 right 2 botom 1 botom right from rear of printer

Turn the printer off and then on.
57.3 Cartridge fan error (F2)
1. Reconnect the connector
between the fan and the
DC controller PCA
(location J78).
2. Replace the fan. See "Cooling
fan (right side;

printer only)" on page 170.
3. Replace the
DC controller PCA. See
"DC controller PCA" on
page 181.

1. Reconnect the connector
between the fan and the
power supply.
2. Verify that the ribbon cables
are fully seated in the
