It really depends on what YOUR eyes are pleased with - if 50 looks good to you, that's where it should be. It seems like you might be afraid of messing up something - don't worry, you can't hurt the TV by adjusting the customer controls :-) You might try a little experimenting - kicking them up to 75 might give you a brighter and more pleasing picture. I've been a TV technician for years, and I generally like the brightness and contrast up almost to the maximum (I like a bright picture as opposed to a "warm" one), with the color and hue adjusted for an accurate reproduction of facial tones. But the bottom line is what YOU want - feel free to experiment, you can't hurt anything as long as you don't start taking out screws :-)

Devant tv tech.model no.32DL410 power on but no display on the screen can you help me.???

Try goong to menu and check if brightness, color, sharpness, hue, contrast is set to 0. I have the same model, whenever I use USB in Source, those settings in menu automatically change. If thats the case, go ahead and change brightness to 50, contrast to 50, color to 50, sharpness to 2, hue to 50

What are the best picture calibration settings for the sony 4k xbr65x850a tv

Brightness to 40 > 50%, Contrast to 65 > 75% & Color to 30 > 35% must give a good picture. First, try to adjust a good B/W picture, by adjusting the brightness and contrast. After you have got a good picture in B/W, then advance the color intensity, according your viewing taste. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

Contrast really dark but seems to improve after the tv has been on several hours

Hi:
You may have a problem with the inverters in the unit, they are responsible for lighting up the back panel. Check or have checked the power supply voltage to the inverters, should be around 18-24 volts DC. Also leaky capacitors on the power supply will cause this issue as well as leaky or puffy capacitors on the inverter.

Color

see if there is a "default" option, if not set everything back to the middle, if the colors are still off you sure its not the convergence?
most big screens allow you to change "color temperature" it's like a default adjustment for 3 different brightness levels.... ie...COOL, WARM picture will show obvious changes in brightness

Zenith cov. problums

THose are G2 settings they have to be adjusted to certain voltages. You can ball park the adjustment by setting conrast, ad brightness levels to 50 percent. Shut color level to its lowest setting then adjust each screen control to achieve a good black and white picture not too bright. then turn your color and other controls back up. This should get it ball parked for you. Anything further and you would need the service manual. If you'd like a service manul let me know I have a link that has them at a cheap price and provides free support with them.
