Washer leaking water from underneath

The washing machine is leaking water from underneath. There does not appear to be any leak from the hose attachments at the back of the unit. Can you please explain what may be causing this?

I've not been able to look into the solution tendered, as I had an urgent family matter that required my attendance out of town. Will look into the solution within the next few days and will comment accordingly.

Thanks again for your assistance. The seal around the tub, as you had described appears to be intact with no holes. However, in inspecting the seal, we noticed that the tub appears to be loose, as though it detached from something. In retrospect, when in cycle, the tub did bang around rather aggressively, much like it would with an unbalanced load, though that hasn 't been the problem. If that's the case, I imagine we would have to open the machine up from the back. Before doing so, however, is it possible that the drum detached from something that may be causing the banging and/or the leak? Again, thanks so much for your help.

    Kindest regards!

Your leak could be coming from the rubber door seal. Inspect all the way around the rubber seal paying particular attention to the areas behind the rubber seal where it meets the wash tub. They wear with age and can develop small holes. When they start leaking it appears like water coming from under the machine. I hopes this helps.

Frigidaire Washer Model FAHE4044MWO is leaking from the bottom, what should I check first?

Hello Cicl, I appreciate your post!

If you have a water leak from under your Frigidaire washer it could be a possible problem with a faulty water hose, water inlet valve, or drain pump. Either one of those components could be causing a drain within your washer. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional technician to get a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Leaking water from bottom

Hello there:
If the washer leaks all the time, check these: Hot and cold water fill hoses - Check the hot and cold water hoses from the household plumbing. If either hose is leaking, tighten it or replace it, as appropriate. Main tub seal - The main tub seal is located between the transmission and the outer tub. It's the primary water seal in the outer tub for the transmission-shaft entry point. If this seal leaks, you can see the leak by opening up the machine's main access panel while the machine is full of water with a small amount of detergent in it. The leak appears at the underside of the outer tub, at or near the center. This seal is difficult to replace. You probably should call a qualified appliance repair technician. Pump - If the pump leaks, you can probably spot the leak when the tub is full of water. The pump has two or more black rubber or plastic hoses attached to it and usually has a drive belt that spins the pump. If the pump is leaking, you need to replace it. Outer tub - Over time, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub-

I had the same problem. I have tried replacing the spring clamp on the drain hose with a regular adjustable hose clamp I got from the hardware store. Not real happy with this situation since I just bought this washer two years ago to replace a previous Kenmore washer that we had for nearly 20 problem-free years.

Ultimate care supreme leaks underneath

First check the hoses to the machine. If they leak the water follows the hoses and drips on floor. Also check the hose connection at the washer. They will leak inside. Next it may well be a water pump going out or the plastic hose that is under pressure when operating. The pump is in the middle of machine underneth - Sorry - Good luck
