Freezer working Fridge NOT COOLING

Well I have the same problem as described by a previous user. However my Jenn-Air is brand new.I plugged it in for the first time and the freezer works but the top part (Fresh Food section) does not cool. We tried unplugging and re-plugging in twice over 48 hours and no change. Freezer works, Fridge does not cool. The thermostat panel works, shows internal temp and setting temp. The fridge section starts at 29 and goes up from there to 32 degrees celcius. I do not get what is happening. Cannot be frost buildup! Any ideas? I think I am missing something, but i have read the manual backwards and forwards to see if there is some switch i missed or some packing that i have to remove, but i cannot seem to find anything wrong.

Freezer working, fridge not cooling. Checked all dust buildup--no sufficient to account for problem. Cut power off for 5 minutes, restored. Fridge then cooled as it should. Still don't know what caused the problem in the first place no why what I did fixed it. My solution is nowhere to be found in the troubleshooting suggestions.

Our refrigerator is about 2 years old and has worked great up to now. The freezer is working fine but the thermastat is at 64 degrees and we cannot reset it. Every time we scroll the temp on the panel down to 38 degrees, it pops up to 64. What can we do? Is there the possibility of a panel reset?

Problem seems to be solved. I unplugged it for a short time and plugged it back in. I'm guessing it needed to be re-set.

Frig not stayng cool. Freezer not freezing

most fridges have a evaporator dish or container.
it must be emptied ...and cleaned and disinfected.

now-a -days they are usually mated with the compressor and cool this unit down. notice there is no coil along the back of the fridge...it is usiually behind the fridge at the bottom with a cardboard or plastic access cover...
this will make the unit cool better and return the cooling to normal....

clean out your freezer...i bet it's full of 4 month old packs of something you'll never eat....this will let the freezer breathe and circulate air to the coil ...i bet it has 3 in of ice on it...yikes...your not alone...most people do this...\
get a freezer if your getting ready for the apocalypse and liberate some room.
good luck
