Sound surge My speakers, even if I plug in external speakers or a headset, sort of do this "surging" thing. Almost like a vibrato in a voice. It ends up sounding like Ch-ch-ch ch ch ch ch ch chhhhhhhh ch ch ch ch ch ch chhhhhh..... Just got a new router, so it's not that. I'm about to try it hard wired instead of with wireless intenet.

there a loss connection in the speaker of your system. locate the loss connection and fix it. if hard for you fix then you should call the technician to fixed for you ..or either use external speaker so that you can hear sounds without using headset.

SOURCE: Compaq Evo N610c No internal sound

No, you need not to install soud/audio driver if its work with external speakers. Its seems that the internal speaker of your laptop has got damaged. So you shuld call your vendor for service. If you are in warranty it will be free for you.

Thanks

SOURCE: Sound only works with headset. No longer comes

If the sound is working through another device then it seems that the internal speakers are bad. Because if the sound card was bad you wouldn't have any sound whatsoever, same goes for drivers. Probably just some bad speakers. If you have some other external speakers try plugging them into the headphone port and see if that helps.

SOURCE: My laptop kicks everybody else off of the wireless router including the main desktop which is hard wired to the router.

Perhaps its using its own address that is forcing the other computers to lose theirs. Under its network settings, make sure its set to DHCP. This means it will get an auto-IPadress from the router and not use its own one.

Bosch dishwasher model # shx3ar76uc will not start after a possible power surge

Washing machines these days are as much computer as an electro-mechanical device and as such contain sensitive cmos electronics that are easily damaged by voltage surges or spikes.

It is usual to protect the laptop and desktop computers with surge-protectors but it isn't generally recognised that most computerised appliances need similar protection - radios, tv sets, top boxes, washers and even the modern fridge...

A surge protector won't protect against every surge but every little helps and when a household has most things protected it produces a sort of increased herd immunity.

I suggest you call an engineer to your washer and if the repair is going to be expensive try claiming the cost from the power company.

Sound cuts out with "protector" message

Sounds like a bad speaker, or a speaker that is being over-driven.

HP PL5060N 50 my plasma will not start, I have a surge multiple plug, here in Mexico electric surge is very common, when i try to turn it on, it makes a click sound and turn off, It wont even display...

The "Clicking sound is what gives it away. It would seem that your unit has some sort of PSU fault, or a problem that is shutting down the Power Supply Unit, PSU. This happens so that no further damage, and possible fire will occur.
You need to take the unit to a reputable service centre/man and ask for a firm "Quote" for the work to be done.

I am no tgetting sound from external speakers

Power down your machine
Unplug everything from it
Open it up
Remove your sound card and put it back in
Reverse the step and boot your machine
If it still doesn't work then you'll need to replace your sound card. You can find really good ones on Amazon for $25 or so.Remember to always turn off your speakers before you plug them into your computer. Since they are probably powered via AC adapter that surge of power could have shorted out your card. Good luck!!

Does the surge protector have a "in and out" phone socket? Plug everything into the "out" side and then run a "phone wire" from the "in" side into the wall socket,.. you should be protected.. You are putting "all your stuff" after the surge protector.. so the surge protector can do its job..
