Need an Owners manaual for a tv

Try Hitachi or even EBAY, almost any hitachi remote will work for the basic things, old remote will have number on the front if you want to search for the exact one.

You have a bad light engine (optical block). This is the most expensive part of the TV. Do a search with the model number on Google or Ebay and even type the words "light engine" in your search. You can then find the price of the part. You can find a service manual by typing in the model number followed by "service manual". This will show disassembly instructions.

This manual does not seem to be available anywhere. I looked for it on the Magnavox website http://www.magnavox.com and it was not available. You can call the magnavox customer support at this telephone number. 1-800-705-2000. Give them the model number of you television and ask them for their help getting a copy of the owners manual. I also check for it on a google search. The search turn up no source either. So you best bet is to try and find another person who has the same model television and ask them to make a copy for you. You can do this on this website by looking up the people who have asked for help with the same model television and leaving them a message that you need a copy of the owners manual.You can also go to other help websites and ask for their help in getting a copy of the owners manual. Click on Hitachi (below FIXYA) on this website, type in your model No & search. You will get a shortlist; click on your model,below the page u will get Manual/Guides. Click on the blue, you have your manual on line.

You can look up the part number of the blue projection tube by the make and model of your projection TV by using a Google search or by contacting the manufacturer.

Replacement projection tubes can be bought from a TV parts store or from the manufacturer -- but do not expect them to be inexpensive.

Reset tv to factory settings refer to your owners manual. If still no picture attach a DVD or video player and test. If still no pic refer to tech.
