When I try to point my wii remote at the tv screen straight it won't show up, I have to hold my remote far to the right to get the hand to appear straight on the screen. How do I fix this?

Make sure that your sensor bar is straight, and not on an angle. You may have to contact Nintendo if this problem occurs.

SOURCE: The cursor jumps around the screen

Reposition your Wii so when you play you aren't pointing the controller toward a bright light (like a window or lamp). Bright lights freak out the controller. I have a huge window in the room with the Wii, and I have to wait until mid morning on sunny days or it's almost impossible to control.

SOURCE: Wii not picking up signal from wii remotes

are you having this problem at the wii menu or during game or the hbc?

some games only allow for a certain amount of wiimotes to connect to the system (usually 1 or 2)

if it has a problem with the hbc (HOMEBREW CHANNEL) then some programs only allow gamecube controllers to work.

Volume at max and won't go down

This sounds like a common problem on these TVs. Try a factory reset:

1. Press and hold "Menu" and "Channel+" on the TV. (do not use the remote)
2. Using the other hand, press the Power button.
3. A small screen should appear in the top left part of the screen.
4. Using the remote, select "Memory Recall" and Enter.
5. Power off and reboot the TV and Computer.
6. Run channel auto-scan to regain the picture.

Programed the first wii remote but the arrow (on the game on the television) keeps dissapearing. what do i do now? does this mean the remote is not hooked up correctly?'

Press the home button on the Wii Remote and point at the screen. If the hand does not show up, there might be a problem with your Sensor Bar. Make sure it is plugged in correctly, and the Wii Remote has a clear path to it.
If the hand does show up after pressing the home button, it might be that the game is not meant to show a cursor when you point at the screen.

Can i connect a pc to a wii to view pc screens a my tv

Instructions things you'll need:
  • Wireless router
    • 1 Determine if your Internet connection is compatible with the Wii's online console features. If you are using a dial-up connection you will not be able to connect to the Internet through the Wii console. The best connectivity is with a cable, DSL or fiber-optic connection.
    • 2 Start up your Wii. Go to the main menu. Click on the Wii icon button on the bottom left side of the screen.
    • 3 Select the "Wii Settings" button with a wrench icon. Go to the "Wii System Settings" menu.
    • 4 Click on the arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to page two of the settings. Click on the "Internet" tab.
    • 5 Select "Connection Settings" from the menu that appears. Your screen should show three connection slots all saying "none" next to them. Select "Connection 1."
    • 6 Choose "Wireless Connection" from the pop-up screen. A new screen will appear that reads "Search for an Access Point," "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector," and "Manual Setup." The easiest way to set up the Wii online is to select "Search for an Access Point."
    • 7 Wait a moment for your Wii to find an access point. When the words "Choose the access point you want to connect to" appear on your screen, click "OK."
    • 8 Pick your access point. Choose the point that is listed with a green signal strength icon.
    • 9 Save the settings by clicking "OK." Your Wii console will perform a test. A window will pop up asking you to perform a Wii system update.
    • 10 Complete the system update. Read and agree to the "User Agreements." You should be able to view movies, TV shows, websites, news and games from your PC on your TV.

Pokemon Battle REvolution rental can't start the game

it could be simply that the remotes are not turned on.or it could be that they are not pointing it at the motion sensor or they are standing too close.
I would advise to stand atleast 5 feet away from the screen
note that the blue pokeball is the wii remote pointer
