Printer stopped printing in the middle of a doc

lets start with the basics.
Do a calibration of the label to the printer : -
1/ Turn off the power
2/Press and hold the feed key
3/ Turn on power and wait for the green feed light to flash twice.
4/ Release the feed key
5/ The printer should feed and print the configuration.
Now press the feed key and the label should feed and stop at the gap.

What model is this printer? If it has a scanner/copier function, try copying something and see if it works that way. If it does, there is an issue with the computer. If it has a problem copying, it is a problem with the printer. Let me know and I can give you additional steps to take.

Try putting a piece of paper in tray 1

1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal

Sound like residue from the protective tape that was on the cartridge. Take the cartridge out and clean the copper contacts with a Q-Tip dipped in alcohol. VERY lite-ly... I have seen a lite glaze from the tape stopping proper contact if the were on the store shelf very long....

ok you might have tried printing a doc/app out earlier and it might have failed so while you trying to print out this present app/doc the printer still might be focused on that failed or it might be confused. Now to stop this follow these instructions. Go to the start bar click control panel. Then once that window pops up ( control panel ) click printers and other hardware. Then once that window pops up ( printers and other hardware ).  Click Printers and faxes and that page will have all the printers and faxes ever installed to your computer. Now click on the printer thats yours and then a smaller wider window will appear you will that window will have all the doc/app you have ever tried printing out. the status bar will show what is going on with each doc/app. Now you should first stop all the doc/apps and refresh. To do this you should highlight all the doc/app and then go into the document tab ( there are several tabs in this window such as document , printer, view and help) then click cancel and cancel all the doc/apps. last step is to go into the view tab and click refresh and it should work :-). If not contact your printer manufactor.

use the auto clean function : i.e. press the demo button for about 10 sec. until all lights on the release ---- it will automatically clean internally. You can read the manual -- this is a LSU error.

It appears that the injection may have been lethal, it was still using the ink that it carries in its tubes then it mixed with the injection and is now blocked \ faulty. To repair it you could try getting a new set of HP inks.

This worked perfectly for my printer:

Waste Ink Counter Reset

Power off printer and covers closed
Hold down the Resume button then press and hold POWER, the Green Indicator will light. While holding down POWER , release RESUME
Double click (2 clicks) RESUME then release BOTH POWER and RESUME and wait still the printer stops blinking.
When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME three(3) times. The indicator should be ORANGE.
Press Power to set data
