When the power button is pushed, the standby light flashes green & red. Nothing appears on the screen.
Toshiba? Suspect that if it uses a Lamp for brightness (a model number would help) it may have failed----customer replaceable and if remove look to see it is not shattered inside--2 year, 2000 hour life is normal.

i have a projection tv. It is a a Samsung HDTV 55" widescreen. There is a green curvey lines at top of screen. Can you help?

if it is 90% of the time the vid card has over heated they have a video card kinda like pc's one thing is most companies dont put fans on them so they over heat especially when dust start collecting on it wait and see if anyone else has any thoughts on this but im pretty sure thats it you will need to take it to someone that works on tvs to replace it and also ask them if they will install a fan on it
but like i said wait and see if anyone esle has any thoughts on this first

Thats the error for lamp driver error. Which means the Ballast is most likely defective. You can get the replacement ballast for your model at the following link which comes with installation instructions.
