1. An obstruction inside the printer is preventing the ink cartridge carriage from moving.
   
   Check inside the pinter and remove paper jam or obstruction.

always work from the power source back to the machine. Is the felc twisted? straighten it out, take all the curls and twists out. Now feel along the entire length and feel for lumps or bumps that might indicate that the inner core of wire is broken. next, check the contacts with the machine, does the light come on, does it hum or do anything that suggests that power is actually getting through? no, time to circuit test the power lead. Cheapest option is to buy a small multimeter from an electronics store. go to a store and ask if you can borrow a power lead to check the machine or take the machine in and test it there. Once you've eliminated the power lead it's time to talk to a service agent

Their technical manual only states the following. I'm guessing it needs service :(

Cause Action Movement of the Holder is blocked. Clear the paper jam or foreign object that is preventing the Holder from moving, then turn off the machine and turn it back on again. There may be an obstruction that is not allowing the Holder mechanism to move. Check for any obstruction (paper clip, small object, etc.) and also that the protective tape are removed from the FINE Cartridge. Check also for a paper jam and clear the jam if necessary . Then press [Stop/Reset] and start again. The FINE Cartridge may be defective. Press [Stop/Reset]. Reinstall the FINE Cartridge (see Prepare the Machine ) and start again.In either case, if the error does not clear, try unplugging the fax. Wait several minutes, then plug it back in. Also, try replacing the FINE Cartridge with a new one. An error requiring servicing might have occurred. Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. After a while, plug the power cord of the machine back in and turn on the machine. If the same error occurs, contact the service center.

is there any error message appear at your laptop..? have you check the ink cartridge inside, and also the mechanical parts inside if there was a paper jam..

Turn power button off (not at wall)
Select 90 degree wash
Press Start and Cancel button down at same time for 3 seconds and turn power button on whilst still holding buttons down - Start light will flash.
Leave power on.
Select any Spin position.
Press Start and Cancel button at same time again for 3 seconds - other buttons may start to flash - if they do, press Start and Cancel button together again for 3 seconds.
Machine should be re-set ready for use.

Currently, both my manual and steam button are flashing. No idea why. Any help?
