Changed my ink a while back and now it doesn't print. Just see some blue hightlights. Also what is Kodak phone number?

It depends on the type of cartridges you use and the printer model, but it likely indicates damaged print heads on the printer. You can try cleaning the print heads, though, and see if that helps any.

Ink level data is stored in a chip of the cartridge. Once the cartridge is empty, ink low message will appear eventhough you refill the cartridge. You need to deactivate ink level detection function to continue printing in case of usage of refill ink .

Follow www.kodak.com/go/itg and try the step by step solution.If issue persists,Call Kodak @1800 421 6699 and get a new printhead free of cost.....Printhead has gone bad and it is the part in which we install the ink cartridges.It takes the ink out of the cartridges and spit the ink on the papers,...Cheers and Enjoy..

My print comes out blue.

I think it may be a faulty printhead. Phone or email Kodak, email [email protected] or phone 1-800-421-6699. option 1.
If its a bad printhead Kodak will send you a free one by overnight air. will also send you a free black and color ink ,cannot beat that.

Kodak EasyShare 5100 stopped printing in black

1-800-421-6699.. That is the number for Kodak. They will replace your printhead for you. I've been dealing with this same thing. Along with replacing the printhead they are sending black and color ink. All Free! I'm really excited. The people are very friendly and helpful. They know what they're doing. BTW, the replacements should be here in 3-5 days.

Printer does not make black copies, it will print colored copies but not black kodak 5300 aio printer will not print in black. ink cartridge new.

Remove the black and color ink cartridges.
Right above where the black ink cartridge was, in the top left hand corner of the printhead, push up towards the ceiling and you should be able to push a button that releases the printhead.
Place the printhead right back into the printer and push straight back on the back wall.
You should hear a loud snap.
Replace the ink cartridges which should snap as well.
Close the printer.
After about a minute or so the printer will ask you to do a calibration.
Insert a paper and press start.
Scan the calibration sheet.
After that, in the menu, do a printhead clean.
Do one basic and one deep.
Print a demo sheet to see if anything has changed.
If the picture looks better, continue to do cleans.
In the event that it does not, the printhead will need to be replaced and since the printer is still under warranty, Kodak specialists will try to overnight you a printhead.
The whole process is short and free.
