Main motor error
The main motor starts or changes
speed. The lock signal does not
continue for 1 second within 3
seconds.
• The main motor starts. The lock
signal is detected and operation
proceeds normally. The lock
signal is interrupted for 1 second.

Causes:
• Defective main motor
• Too much load of the main motor drive

Hello sir; Let's try to reset;
1, press "clear mode", "107", then press and hold down "clear/stop" for about 3 second.
2, touch copier SP,
3, enter SP5-810-2 pres enter.
4, press 1, then turn power off and back on .

SC 541 indicates a problem with the heating unit thermistor in the machine.
This type of inquiry requires service support from your local authorized dealer or original point of purchase. This type of service code can not be reset by the user for safety reasons.

E codes are displayed in the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the enter key.
E11 exposure lamp error.Possible causes exposure lamp open thermofuse open.
E12 exposure lamp error Ac drive board defective or main board defective.

My ricoh printer stoped printing and came up with an error code sc440-01

Possible Drum motor, or sensor - you would do best getting a professional in to repair, as self repair on these will no doubt end in issues..

I have a Ricoh 2238c. Are the drum units different fro each colour or is it the ame part. I know the devleoper units are colour specific but I was wonderin g of the same applied to drum units.

All four drum units on the 2238C are identical (part #B1909510). Each drum unit can be used for any of the colors.

It means "Service Call Condition", that you have to call a technichan depending on the error code.

My Ricoh 2238c, the colors in the paper are move...The black and the yellow are fine but the color magenta and cyan are move like 1 milimeter what i have to do...

Press the user tools an then maintance, then color registration, do this if it fails then a service call is required. -Carl

393-004: M magenta td sensor error
Loose cable
connection
• Positioning plate out
of place
• Defective TD sensor
• Development unit not found

2. Check that the development unit is
correctly installed.
3. Remove the development unit and
check the connector on the rear.
4. Check the positioning plate.
5. Replace the development unit.
