    Have this gps without instruccions live in Puerto Rico set the reset button but for some reason does't receive satelite signal please indicate what can be the cause ,this gps was working fine inthe states

You can plug in tomtom to you computer via USB and look inside from there, or go to www.tomtom.com and register and account, then add you model No. and your product/look under "support" tab and download the user guide for your model No. hope that this helps.

How do I reset my TOMTOM N14644?
Go to TOM TOM´s homepage http://www.tomtom.com/services/
Connect the GPS unit to the PC using the USB2 connection.
You will be given the possibility to restore the unit´s files. This takes a while, but it solved the problem for me.
