Does this machine have a shipping pin that needs to be removed

I don't believe there are any shipping bolts on that unit.

They were part of the shipping hardware when you machine was new they,the rest of the shipping braces were removed and discarded when it was delivered/brough home but they stay in the base and cause no problem or need to replaced or anything

those are the shipping bolts. remove all 4.

There should be a yellow strap just pull it and it should release the shipping pins into some cups inside the machine remove the yellow strap completely from the machine there should be 2 or 3 pins attached to the strap. The Shipping pins in hold the tub in place while in transit to the store so it wont crack the tub. If there not removed it will shake real bad and cause damage to the machine. Hope this helps

From looking on pages 4 - 8 of the manual there are no shipping pins. There are 20 steps to the installation procedures and none of them include the removeal of any shipping pins.

However... that being said if there are any shipping bolts it is usually ONE bolt in the back of the machine near the bottom of the tub carriage on SOME machines. It does not appear that this particular washer has one.

Make sure the washer is level. Most important make sure the shipping pins are removed. Classic! Good luck! The pins are located underneath your washer. Tilt up and pullem out!

Ther could be possible drum suspension unit damage..

1. Push the scanner-release button to open the scanner assembly. Figure 1: Example of scanner release button location
2. Open the top cover. Figure 2: Example of top cover being opened
3. Grasp the imaging drum handle, and then rotate the drum until the handle is at the top.
   NOTE: The drum may be a snug fit. If needed, gently apply some force while rotating and removing the drum. Figure 3: Example of imaging drum rotation
4. Lift the imaging drum straight up to remove it from the device. Figure 4: Example of imaging drum removal
5. Remove the new imaging drum from its packaging.
6. Place the imaging drum on a firm surface, and then pull the orange rings to remove the shipping pins. Figure 5: Example of shipping pin locations
7. Remove the orange shipping lock on each end of the imaging drum, and remove the two orange shipping spacers. Figure 6: Example of shipping lock and spacer locations
8. Remove the orange cover from the imaging drum. Figure 7: Example of orange cover location CAUTION: Do not touch the surface of the roller or expose the roller to light for an extended period of time. Doing so could cause print-quality issues.
9. Align the arrows on the side of the imaging drum with the arrows inside the printer. Figure 8: Example of arrow location
10. Lower the imaging drum into the printer, and then press it firmly into place. Figure 9: Example of imaging drum installation
11. Close the top cover and the scanner assembly.

the pins are shipping pins, heldin by cotter pins to prevent the tub from shifting in delivery, when the unit is set up initially, the shipping cord releases all the pins ans instead of having htem hit the floor they fall into conviently located plastic cups. they have no function past that you can discard them
