If I have the right manual you should connect the wii cable from the package to th backside of the tv. You will see four pluges. Choose with VGA you want to use, this is not important. Use the cable from the wii and plug in two of three pluges, you must match te coulors. If you have a cable box installed you will probably have scart (a big cable with a large head) connect this and it would run smooth. You can also connect the three pluges from the cable to your cable-box, use the red, wihte, and yellow pluge.

You should have various input connections on the back of the tv. Use the red, white (audio) and yellow (video) connections. The remote should have a button that lets you select which input to use. After connecting the wii, turn it on and try all the input selections until you see the wii screen

SOURCE: connecting a wii system to a sanyo DP26648 tv

It has to do with the type of input - Video2 and 3 are Component video inputs, requiring a 3- wire component video cable (Red,blue, green for video, red/white below for audio). Video 1 is for analog equipment (Yellow for the video, red and white for the audio). Unless your Wii comes with a component video out cable and jacks (same red blue green), you'll have to use video 1 for the Wii, and use Video 2 for the dvd. You'll need a component video (3-wire) cable for your dvd, which should have the jacks for it. You can use the present cable you're using for the dvd, but you'll have to change the connections on the back of the dvd to component video out, and you'll still need another 2-wire cable to connect the audio out on the dvd to the audio in on Video 2 on the tv.

Here's the manual for your tv - look on page 8 for these connections. the Wii will be an analog connnection, the dvd will be a digital connection.

How to plug a wii to a proscan "32" tv

If the TV has an unused HDMI port, use the HDMI cable that comes with the WII . If not , then use the 5 cable Hi def cable . Match the colors RGB on the cables to the same color input jacks on the TV The red and white cables are the audio. Make sure you don't get the wrong red cable mixed up. Note the input number near the jacks you use on the back of the TV. Select that number with the input button on the remote to see the picture.

You can most certainly connect more than one console to a single TV. I would recommend calling a professional service. I own a shop in Central GA. Hello.

Here is what it says in Nintendo Wii SHop:

Some newer-model televisions may have difficulty properly displaying some Virtual Console games downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel. If you are experiencing problems (such as a blank screen but you can hear the game's audio), please try the following:
Try changing the way your Wii console is connected to your television. For instance:
    • If the Wii console is connected to a VCR or cable box, try connecting the Wii directly to the TV (how to).
    • If the Wii console is connected to the TV directly, try connecting it to a VCR (how to).
    • If possible, try connecting to another TV.

If any of the above are successful, it is recommended you use the connection that works. If the Virtual Console game still did not display properly after trying different connection types, please call 1-800-255-3700 to discuss available options.

Can i connect my wii console to my tv thru my dish network dvr

I hope that you have found the proper solution for this. The Wii console only has an "out" port, no "in" ports. This means that you can only connect the Wii to the tv, and nothing to the Wii, so you are not able to connect this between your receiver and tv.

Connecting Wii through Component cables and Phillips switcher

I just did some more checking...

When you have the Wii connected to the AV Switch, try turning on the DVD player too, but have the switch set to show the Wii on the TV. It is odd, but that has worked for me.
