Master reset I can't found master reset option on my Nokia n95

after visiting on that site you have to enter your phone's imei no. in the textbox which are given on that page after entering your imei no. click on get master code button to get your phone's master code

try master reset, if cant solve...should be some problem on the board, you should contact nokia if the master reset didnt work out.

kindly reset like below or pls update ur phone firmware from NOKIA download update application from www.nokia.com for ur mobile N95 and it will help u in this software issue

but pls first try to reset the device like this it may resolve it

Option 1
Press Call + 3 + * simultaneously during the bootup phase, forces the N95 to do a complete wipe of internal memory.
This will reset the phone back to 100% standard factory configuration.

Option 2

Master reset
1) *#7370#, then enter 12345 (This is the default security code unless the user has changed it) and then Yes. The phone then wipes all apps and phonebook contacts on the internal memory.

I would try this if you think it is a software problem, I found this in the K1m users manual.
master clear Reset all options except unlock code, security code, and lifetime timer, and clear all user settings and entries: Warning: This option erases all userentered information stored in your phone memory, including phonebook entries and downloaded files. Once you erase the information, it cannot be recovered. It resets all options to their factory settings except for the unlock code, security code, and lifetime timer. Find it: s > w Settings > Initial Setup > Master Clear To reset all options, you need to enter the Security Code (000000).
this should fix you problem, I do this to my Nokia N95-2 often to keep it running sweet.

is it a genuine n95 ?
if yes go to setting and perform master reset

Try this. Turn off your phone, then turn it back.
While its turning press and hold the following buttons:
Call, 3, *

This should be a hard reset button that will restore your n95 to its original settings.
