My screen is very dark and its all very red. This happened when I connected the monitor to my old computer, I might have forgot to turn it off before disconnecting it... and now connected back to my new computer the colors are still messed up, with everything being much more red and less bright.
SOURCE: the colors on my monitor are faded/bright always changing.
Right click on your desktop (not an icon but a blank space), click "personalize", click on the tab on the far right(settings), click the drop-down menu on the left side above the colored banner, make sure it is set to the most colors(usually 32). If you need a walkthrough for Vista I can provide that as well.

Its actually normal. That normally happens to some monitor models at the 6500K setting. Try a higher one.
