That sounds like the amp board died. Mackie parts can be hard to source, and Mackie is really slow to ship, so I suggest taking it to a Mackie authorized service center. Here's a link-

From the way you have worded the question, I would say you're in no way certified to do this. Take it to a professional.

similar , use the running board as a guide in troubleshooting .

On most are the XLR inputs with phantom supply.

it should be if you hook something up to an input channel like w the band i was in i had to hook my turntables up to a microphone jack on an open channel . so yeah if u plug lets say a cd player plug the output of that into the input of the mackie and make sure you have your speakers in the output of mackie all set up and it should work no problem. We have the same mackie

You use a VERY long phillips screwdriver as there are screws in those deep wells from the back. I think it takes a #3 phillips and you want one with at least a 12 inch shaft to reach the screws. The screws are black and are Kaylon or sheet metal types with pan heads. It can be a little tricky to engage the screwdriver bit as deep as these are.

Make sure ALL screws are completely out... count them vs the number of wells... there are a lot!

Then you have to pry the back off.

Your best bet is to visit the link below and select the "local distributor" option under section 4. You will then get contact information for a local distributor. I have found Mackie to be very helpful with parts requests. Please note that these units are a bit tricky to open up. Take care during dis-assembly not to tear any cables.
