The tub is out of balance. When it starts hitting the sides, stop the washer and move your clothes around inside the tub to balance the tub. Now start it to spin again. This should stop the tub from hitting the sides.
Their could be objects between the tubs, remove the inner tub nut under the agitation device and lift out the tub. look for objects in there. Also the inner basket has a balance ring in it. Service manual and failure codes
There are springs inside the unit that stablize the tub during spin. If the springs are not attached correctly the tub will be off balance. Sometimes the Balance Ring loses it's fluid due to a crack or leak and the washer will spin off balance. THis requires a service tech to dissemble the machine.
some units had balance held in place by clips those could be replaced separately those where balance slipped around outer edge of tub are not a separate part that can be ordered
