Directly behind the front grill. If you look from the top with the hood open, you will see it in front of the fan assembly.

sounds like climate control door is stuck. check vaccum hoses for leaks, cracks, etc.

this actualy takes a special wrench but can be done with a large strap wrench. you have to hold the pully from turning and turn the nut that is molded to the fan stem counter clock wise.
