My samsung st66 camera was dropped and it say the zoom did not operate normally zoom wont operate normally

If won't power up but with a charger, I guess your battery is dead. You should buy a new battery. Also you should take your charger to an electronic repair shop and get it checked. A bad charger can be the reason of premature end of a battery.
Maybe might help you to read your manual if it has any information about power buttor "trnasmuting" to view button when the charger is connected but actually I find it a lesser problem because normally you don't even should use a Digital Camera with charger connected. Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

Pull gently back and forth on the lens while in outward position. Do this several times until you hear a click. This will put the lens back in place and should go in and out afterwards with no problems.The lens was knocked out of alignment when dropped and do the above will put it back into alignment.

Hi had this problem with my WB100. Zoom would come out then pop back in and say zoom nit not operate normally, please put new batteries in and try again or contact bla bla. What i did when the zoom popped out is i held onto it and didnt let it retract back and turned it back on. It worked after that so i guess the zoom must of been a little forced in when it was in use last in when turned on it wasnt fully going forward. Worked for me so worth a shot
