I run 2 sets of RCA jacks off of the stereo front and rear outputs on the low end. It operates my rear midrange off of the front output RCAs. It operates a single subwoofer off of rear output RCAs connected and split at amp. Now I hook my front speakers, left and right off of the high end wiring harness outputs but have no sound. Did I do something wrong and if so how can I fix it?

hello chevi1981..what can happen is if whoever installed your system did not run your speaker wires properly eg if they have worn through and touching metal or a screw through the wires ,it can blow the audio ics in unit resulting in no sound.all these high powered units have above ground circuits in the audio stage .to check ,hook up a separate speaker direct to your unit, separate wiring ,if no sound, will most likely be the intergrated circuits..these will have to be changed by a tech as cd players are a beast to work on,also your 2 speaker wires should not touch one another.with your sec code if your have a removable face you may not have a code ,as removing face is your security .hope this helps

Hi check with a multimeter each speaker output, you should have 6voltsa on each connection. if any have either anything other than 6volts then there is a good chance that your power output stage is blown. some unit do have diode protection. so it may not be as bad as it seams.
as a rule you should get half the supply voltage on the speaker outputs.

yes the sub out on this radio is mono. but to feed you amp will require two rcsa so get a y adaptor to feed both inputs on the amp.
