Does the DVR not work with a Mac

Samsung website says there is no such model. Try using Samsung website Contact Us ' Official Samsung Support US and find software for your model.

You can try the following software on hit and trial basis

POWER OFF THE DVR AND REMOVE DVR COVER AND REMOVE THE BATTERY FOR 10 SEC AND RETURN IT BACK THAT MAKE ALL SETTING DEFAULT

Suggest using Google to access a copy of the manual. Some units have a reset function, other are like a computer with an internal battery or reset button.

There is not a super password go into your DVR go back to factory default settings

I called Vivitar customer service and they told me to try with Windows Media Player in a Vista PC. It did not work. The guy then told me to try in a computer with Windows XP. I don't have it. I thanked and desisted.
My teenager son told me to download VLC player for Mac and the issue was easily solved. I still don't know what happened

It sounds like the unit has an optical drive failure, and most likely the drive will need to be replace

not compatible with mac

To figure this out you must look and see if Samsung offers mac osx compatible drivers for this unit. Ther in lies your answer.
