Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button, applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time. Worth a try. I have fixed a number of printers this way saving costly repairs. Bud

Hi My epson RX500 is not taking the paper, tries but then goes to paper jam

Try putting less paper in the tray. The paper you are trying to use mauy be too heavy a bond (to thick) for your printer to use.
Refer to the manufacturers user guide.

Epson Stylus Photo R425 will not print. Screen says "Paper jam" but no paper is visible. All docs. have been cleared from the document queue. A whirring sound occurs when trying to print. Any advice...

Please turn-off your printer and disconnect from PC then get a flashlight and try to look inside the printer starting at the paper loader mechanism. Try to look for paper or any materials that could have blocked a sensors path. Often this are not easy to spot and difficult to remove.

Contact me if this doesnt work.

Roller Marks

Try this to clean the rollers:

Put in blank sheets of paper in then print out from microsoft word a blank document.

This should clean the rollers. Also, there might be special cleaning sheets that you can purchase from Epson.

Epson cx7800 error e-04

make sure the ink cover was down tight. Shut down the printer open it up and resecure the ink cover. That has fixed this error in many a case.

Epson RX520 dont print the full picture

It's a problem with the paper not feeding straight. The printer will make a pass & sense the width of the paper & print accordingly. If it feeds in crooked then it sees it as being narrow & only prints to that width. Happens more easily with heavy photo paper.

Apply a bit of pressure to the paper as it feeds & it's happy days.

Screeching sound

If you haven't already done so, look into the printer roller areas, and look for a piece of paper stuck somewhere, or maybe a paperclip or other foreign object which has found it's way into the mechanicals. Also, check the printhead assembly for free movement.
