You can get the manual here:

Just curious - what happened when you tried to get in touch with LG? Also, did you call, email, what?

SOURCE: need timer wiring diagram for direct drive

Most washers have their wiring diagram glued to the inside of the removable panel on the back. You need to unscrew the panel to get to the diagram.

Do I have to take apart the whole machine to fix the drain pump on my LG WM3455HW washer/dryer combo? I can't seem to find any instructions on this model.

Lucky You. The newer models of LG Combo units WM34xx have the filter on the right hand side and the pump can be changed through the bottom panel.

Hi im looking for a wiring diagram for an lg toploader model wf-t7030tp

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry, this forum is not able to supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer repair manual' and you maybe presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct but some manufacturers will only supply to their engineers ;-0)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

The dl. Code comes on

DL = Long Drain Ld flashes when the water level does not change after the drain pump is on.
Is the drain hose or the drain pump clogged?
Is the drain hose height greater than 96? ?

Perform the following checks if washer fails to drain or recirculate.
1. See Activation of Manual Diagnostic Test Mode, and perform the Manual: Pumps test.
2. Remove the console to access the machine/ motor control assembly. See Accessing & Removing the Electronic Assemblies.
3. Visually check that the P4 connector is inserted all the way into the machine/motor control. If visual check passes, go to step 4. If visual check fails, reconnect P4 and repeat step 1.
4. Remove connector P4 from the machine/ motor control and check resistance values of pump motor windings. Resistance values should match those shown in wiring diagram, page 7-1. If resistance values are good, go to step 7. If winding measurements are much higher (tens of ohms to infinity) than shown in wiring diagram, a problem exists in the motor winding or in the connection between the machine/motor control and the motor. Go to step 5.
5. Tilt machine forward to access the bottom of the machine and the pumps. See Figure 1, page 6-13.
6. Check the resistance at the pump motor. Remove the connector at the motor and take measurements across pump terminals. Measurements should be as shown in the wiring diagram. If winding measurements are much higher (tens of ohms to infinity) than shown in wiring diagram, replace the pump motor. If the resistance at the pump motor is correct, there is an open circuit in the wiring between the motor and the machine/ motor control. Repair or replace the lower wiring harness. If the pump motor windings and machine/ motor control check OK, repair or replace the pump. Be sure to check the pump and tub sump for foreign objects before replacing pump.
7. See Activation of Manual Diagnostic Test Mode, and perform the Manual: Pumps test.
8. If the Manual: Pumps test failed, then the machine/motor control has failed: Unplug the washer or disconnect power. Replace the machine/motor control assembly. Perform the Manual: Pump test.

Need opinion on Washer repair

This assumes that you have a basic Kenmore / Whirlpool top load, direct drive, neutral drain (it doesn't spin until the pump removes most of the water) machine.

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=110.22432100&pathTaken=partSearch

and you'll see a list of major sub-components with diagrams and parts.

See the following Whirlpool Service manuals for top load, direct drive washers.

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/f7e2147fa98b28cf85257122007475cb/$FILE/L-55.pdf

Assuming that it WILL spin, but not drain, the problem does point to either a pump or hose problem.

If you can hear the motor turning during the spin cycle, the pump should be working.

See the following for how to remove the cabinet and gain access to / check the pump.

http://www.american-appliance.com/catalog/newsdesk_info.php?newsPath=16&newsdesk_id=134&osCsid=7eb3280b232f728490afcac4574c759e

If it will neither drain NOR spin, the problem points to the Lid Switch?

Washer will not spin or agitate. Pump works.

This assumes that you have a basic Kenmore / Whirlpool top load, direct drive, neutral drain (it doesn't spin until the pump removes most of the water) machine.

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action

Enter your model number (###.######) and you'll see a list of major sub-components with diagrams and parts.

First, see the following Whirlpool Kenmore installation and service manual for top load, direct drive washers.

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/f7e2147fa98b28cf85257122007475cb/$FILE/L-55.pdf

If it drains and you can hear the motor trying to turn the transmission for the agitate mode, the obvious first answer is the Motor coupler. I'd replace it just to be sure.

If it's not the Coupler, the problem points to the transmission itself.

There are only two components of the gearcase that are used for both agitating and spinning.

One is the Agitator shaft which drives the agitator and holds the spin pinion that drives the clutch for spinning.

The other is the main "Bottom and pinion gearcase" itself.

Please see the following Whirlpool parts list for commercial top load direct drive washers although the consumer models use the same transmission parts.

Long Drain Ld flashes when the water level does not change after the drain pump is on. • Is the drain hose or the drain pump clogged? • Is the drain hose height greater than 96˝ ? • Is the pump running? If not, see TEST #7.

Not sure if manifold is leaking

Leaks water...check the pump first. The fill valve and hoses may be the next step. See how to take apart info. With the use of plastic drain hoses on many machines today, this has become a common leak trouble maker. The drain hose can rub the wall or a pipe and this will rub a hole in the drain hose.
