you have to reset the remote for the tv. call the remote manufacturer and they will tell you the code numbers to push and hold for reset while tv is on
If your remote serves multiple units, make sure it's in the right mode for your TV. (not dvr, dvd player, tuner, other source...). If the TV will not turn on manually (with the power switch on the TV), then make sure it's plugged in and there is power at the plug (try a different power source). If your remote has been out of battery power, sometimes it needs to be reset / reloaded with the correct code for your TV. Check your remote and / or your TV manual for the procedure.
If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First, try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there. You are simply switching. If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.
total dead usually means the fuse---unplug the set for safety and remove back cover---follow power cord just inside and you will find the fuse in a snap in holder--check to see if bad.............if good let me know and I will try to assist you.
Hi, The red light shows there is power connected to the set. The fact that it won't power up is due to a problem with the power supply circuit in the set. or a problem with the switch circuit or the mains power transformer.
