Motherboard owg233 MY sound card dont work. I have windoes vista on it

Try re-loading the drivers. If that doesn't work and windows is telling you it can't find the sound card, you will probably need to buy a new sound card and install it in your computer because the onboard sound card is bad.

My speakers arent making a sound . Pt 2 .

Go into control panel and check on the sound applet. Underneath the sounds tab it will tell you what type of sound cards are in your system. Sometimes newer ones will have their own sound system. You can also go through control panel and system to find the sound card.

If neither place actually has that information and you have a separate sound card installed, the model is printed on the card (either front or back depending on type of card).

If it is integrated, then you have to look on the board for the model of the board and search via manufacturer's website. If you have any trouble, post a response and I'll help you find it.

Sound is not coming in my computer

go into the control panel and into the sound manager,(start, control panel, sound and other audio devices) then check all the volumes are up and not muted.
If that fails, go into device manager, expand the device tree and right click on the audio device, click properties and check the driver is installed, and if necessary update the driver or roll back the driver.

I paid 19.99$ for downloading Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED MB; I got no dot exe file to install. How do I get it?

It is possible that the files you got are all you need. They are probably in a driver directory and when you tell the computer to update the driver, point it to that directory and it will install.
If the card is already in your machine, in device manager, click on update driver. If you haven't yet installed the card, install it and when the computer starts it will ask for the driver. Point it to the directory where you downloaded the files.
Hope that works for you.

Problems with auto download from a card

I dont think it will automaticly download with a card reader. Windows XP will detect that a new USB device is installed and it will open a menu to look at the files or play them but i dont think it will automaticly download. The card reader acts as a removable storage device so you need to tell it what to do. The only way it will download images is threw the camera. You will have to drag and drop them from the card reader to a folder on your computer. Go to mycomputer then next to your "local disk C" there will be a new icon that says "removable storage device" open that then inside there you may have another folder with theimages on it. Click edit, select all, then copy. Paste them into a folder on your desktop or in my pictures. The card readers are a general use device meaning it does not know if you are using it for a camera, mp3 player, a phone so it needs to be told what to do. Hope this helps!
