I have a LG WM2016CW Front Load Washer that is not spinning during wash but does during test mode. What could be the problem?

Replace the motor position sensor also known as a 'hall' sensor. About $20. Pretty easy fix. Check out videos on , repairclinic.com , , appliancepartspros.com , or YouTube.com.
Pretty common erroron older units.

Kenmore He4t front load washer f 06 error code

This answer is actually from Sears Parts Direct: The F06 error code
indicates a drive motor tachometer error. This error is virtually impossible to accurately diagnose. The most suspect components that would cause this failure code are the drive motor, the motor control unit (control board) or the wire harness. In some instances, this could be caused by severely overloading the washer so that it cannot spin properly. Make sure that the washer is not overloaded. Another problem that could cause the error code to be displayed intermittently would be a loose wire harness connection that is affected by vibration when the washer is spinning at high speed. Good lucks, hope it helps

Cabrio washing machine wont finish spin cycle and comes up with a code blinking F 51. how do i fix this problem I cant finish one load of laundry, without this cod F 51 poping up. thank you wendy

The F51 error code indicates that the control is not sensing proper motor movement through the signals from the RPS (rotor position sensor) circuit. This can be caused by several different problems.
Make sure that you are not overloading the washer. Overloading can cause this problem. A toy or foreign object could be under the washer that is interfering with motor rotation.

With the washer empty, spin the basket inside the washer tub to see if it spins relatively easily. If not, you could an item caught between the spin basket and the tub.

You could have a wire harness problem causing signals to not be transmitted properly between the RPS and the machine control board. A failed RPS sensor or a failed control board could also cause this problem.

CE Communications ErrorIf there is any breakdown in communication between the machine controller and the motor controller, CE flashes and the unit beeps once.

Some common causes of CE errors include:

· Conformal coating on serial communications pins between the machine controller and motor controller. After disconnecting power to the unit, try scraping this coating off the pins.

· Check the resistance values between the serial communications pins with the connectors in place. Make sure the harness does not have a bad connection.

· Check the quick disconnect at the motor terminal. The drive motor must be hooked up properly or a CE error will occur.

Flashing ce

Most all error codes on a Calypso end up being a pump problem. If all the water can't be pumped out, the tub gets too heavy for the motor to handle and it will cause a CE error code. Something like lint or wire or screw may be caught in pump impellar. If your not familiar with repair you need to call for service.

Caliypso washer problems

The CL fault indicates that there was an instantaneous current spike of 26 amps at the motor windings in the washer. This could be caused by overloading the washer. It can also be caused by problems with the drive motor, thermal protector or the motor controller.

You should have been able to clear the display by pressing the STOP/CANCEL button.

If you try running the washer again and continue to get this fault code even with a small or medium load, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair the washer.

C1 error code

CL code stands for overloaded motor. Motor is drawing to many amps and cuts out. I suspect a failing motor or something binding that causes the motor to draw to many amps. Don't know how to fix it.
