1, press "#","interupt", "clear", "interupt".
2, enter 14 prss start.
3, turn power off and on again.

1. Uninstall the previous driver
2. Re-install the driver ( do not connect the usb cable at this time )
3. After driver installation, the pc will ask you to connect the usb, do this and it should be OK

Found a very good solution...Use Adobe Acrobat to do the scanning. Launch Adobe Acrobat and select the AR-M205 as your scanner and proced from there. Adobe will pull up the Sharpe software to do the actual scanning but Adobe will be in charge and create a pdf file. I am using Adobe 6.0 which is not one of the free versions, I think.
