Tivoli Digital AM/FM/CD Hi-Fi Music System - Black and silver Shelf System Logo

I have a Tivoli Music System radio/CD player. When it is moved to another room and plugged in at the new location, it won't run! The screen lights up a little, but has to sit for 30-40 minutes bef

We've changed the batteries and it is ALWAYS plugged into a surge protector.

The Tivoli Music System must be left without power for a minute (60 seconds or more) anytime it is unplugged, before being plugged in again. If you observe this little rule when changing rooms, it should turn on and be usable immediately (after ensuring it has been at least a minute since it was last connected to power.)

SOURCE: Tivoli Audio Music System: CD wont eject

We've had the Tivoli Music System for 3 years. A CD became stuck in the player when I pressed the EJECT button before turning the player on. We tried turning it off and back on, unplugging it for a minute, removing the batteries and unplugging, etc. Nothing worked. I finally turned the player upside down in my lap, then turned on the CD player, and it said LOADING! Progress!!! I turned it right-side up and hit EJECT, and it worked like new. The CD loading mechanism had become bound up and simply needed a different "attitude" adjustment. Don't give up too early in attempting to fix these players on your own.

Boss assembly three disk "stacker" won't eject CDs

Someone is going to have to open it up and LOOK to see if jammed, out of alignment or has damaged mechanism. Any of these can prevent the unit from working.

Cd player won't rip

Try:
1 - update driver, if fail
2 - uninstall driver,restart,if fail
3 - update firmware, if fail
Open WMP-Go into Tools - Options - Rip Music and see if you have a location the music is being ripped to. I didn't when I looked, it was blank, then go to Organise - Manage Libraries - Music, there should be a music folder location here, if there isn't press "add" and add the music folder. Now do the same for the other 3 libraries, Videos, Pictures and Recorded tv, all should have locations, delete the ones without a location.try to rip again.

Bought a used iPal and it only came with a european compatible plug. I bought a US converter. Plugged it in and can't make sense of it. The radio doesn't work. When off, there's no green light....

If the radio has a European-style plug, it's probably expecting 220-volt power since that's their standard. If you got a plug adapter but not a voltage converter, the radio won't work because the line voltage is too low.

Check the radio for a ratings label which will tell you for sure what the radio expects. There may be a selector switch on the back which will let the radio work on our line voltage. Otherwise you'll need to purchase a voltage converter to use the radio.

My 2005 chev tahoe cd player won't play cd's and won't eject them. The cd light keeps flashing. I don't think there is on stuck. There wasn't any signs of trouble before this...

I have run into this problem many times on your particular type of radio. I have worked in a gm dealership for years. Sometimes we can reprogram them and they work better, but all will eventually need replaced. The cheaper option is to have an aftermarket radio installed, for the price of a new factory radio, you could have a much nicer aftermarket unit.
