Adapter for maxi cosi on quinny stroller

I've got a quinny freestyle xl stroller by maxi cosi (model 01-980) and i'm looking for an adapter or a way to put a carseat from maxi cosi on this frame. Can you tell me were to get the adapter or how to install the carseat ? Thank you

The foot rest appears to be locked in an upright position on my Maxi-Cosi baby stroller. I am unable to lower it now that my baby is bigger. Is there a trigger somewhere on the stroller that I am missing?

Hi there, I've just had the same problem with a freestyle 3 xl (having lost the adapters for the dreami carrycot & maxi cosi car seat). I have been able to purchase adapters at £11 plus £3.99 postage & packaging from the Quinny UK stockists: Dorel Group UK - Telephone 020 8236 0707 Alternatively if you are not in the UK look at www.quinny.com and you should be able to find your nearest stockist. Hope that helps.

I found some on eBay. If you're in Europe, folks will most likely ship to you. If you are in the US, it might be a little more difficult to get someone to post it internationally.

If you go to the magic beans website in brighton, massachusetts they have the car seat maxi cosi for about 140-160 dollars and the adaptors are around 50 dollars or so, we are actually in the process to buy the whole bundle.

Can i use the adapters of a Quinny Freestyle XL by Maxi Cosi model 2005 to the latest models of Quinny Freestyle and carrycots and Maxi Cosi car seats?

Hi

The adaptors from the 2005 model should only be used with the 2005 model chassis. In this combination the current model carrycot and carseat may be fitted.

I would like to buy the maxi cosi car seat to fit mine. do I need to buy new connectors to the buggy or will the the carry cot ones work with the car seat?

Good Morning

The Quinny Freestyle 3 XL has not been available for sale in the UK for some time, so if you are a UK resident we would be unable to assist in obtaining spare part items. However if you do have the adaptors that originally came with the Freestyle for adding the carrycot, these are the adaptors needed to fit the Maxi Cosi carseat.

Quinny xl freestyle by maxi cosi user manual

I have a user manual for the Quinny XL Freestyle Comfort. I'm not sure where online that I found it; but I saved it on my computer. It's not the exact manual that I need. I have the Quinny XL Freestyle(not the Comfort), model # 01-980. The Comfort model looks like it has a swivel front wheel instead of a "leaning" wheel. But this manual is close enough. Since I don't know where I found it, you'll have to email me at [email protected] and I'll send it to you.

Speaking of the "leaning" front wheel, does anyone else know why stroller manufacturers have not started incorporating this fantastic feature!? Why did Quinny stop using it? And can I find it on any other stroller? I need a double stroller now and would love to find one with this feature.
