Audio stops working on my new dynex dx-lcd32-09

When I turn the tv on the audio stops working after about 2-3 minutes. Sometimes it will come back on for a minute or so then stop working until I unplug the tv and turn it back on. Then it starts all over again. Only thing hooked up is cable from the wall. No receivers, dvd player or anything.

SOURCE: Dynex DX-LCD32-09. tv was working fine, then out

This type of failure could be in the LCD controller board or the power supply might not be providing enough voltage to the main board and LCD controller.
Let me know if you require further assistance locating the boards or part numbers.

The sound is no longer working

Increase the volume. Make sure that the sound is not muted. Make sure that the correct audio mode is selected. You can also try to power cycle the TV by turning the TV off and unplugging it for a minute, then plug it back in and restore system settings back to default. If the problem still persists, I would recommend bringing it back to the store to pursue repairs.

Blinking light on 37" Dynex LCD

I had a similar problem with my Phillips 42 in. LCD HD TV.

Here's the problem. The Power Supply Board. I opened my TV up(warranty was up of course) and found several bad capacitors. Phillips and several other companies were sold capacitors that although were highly rated failed within 5 years because of a lack of preservatives. All sorts of electronic equipment is now being effected due to these defective capacitors.
Solutions?
1. Take it in and have it fixed
2. Open it up, check the board for faulty capacitors(bulged or leaking) Buy a new Power supply board and install it.
3. Remove PSB, remove faulty capacitors and replace with compatible new ones.

Hope this helps
