SOURCE: bobbin case on my 524fb necchi has come apart

Almost all Necchi use a class 15 bobbin & bobbin case, a new case should cost around 7 to 10 dollars!

SOURCE: I have a Necchi 537L it was sold as a comercial

This is not a commercial machine and will give you trouble trying to sew upholstery, especially if you use heavy upholstery thread. You will get loops on the bottom.
It will sew only short stitches,No matter how long the stitch length is, because it only feeds the fabric from the bottom and it will stick.
It should sew regular fabric with normal threads with no problems. There is a pressure adjustment on the top of this machine which may be where your problem is located.Look in your book for instructions. Also, make sure the feed dogs are in the highest position. I don't know how long you've had the machine but if it has been awhile, remove the needle plate and clean the lint out from between the feed dog teeth.

SOURCE: how to thread necchi 537L sewing machine

From the reel pin take the thread to the left and over the top thread guide above the takeup lever, make sure the takeup lever is up and and make sure the presser foot is up, take the thread straight down and round the right hand side of the tension unit and back up the left hand side to the takeup lever, thread the takeup lever right to left and take the thread down any guides to the needle, if the bobbin case goes in the front thread the needle front to back, if the bobbin case goes in the side thread the needle left to right.

it sounds like the thred tenshion is to loos or the timing has sliped a little and its off a bit this can also happen with wear on the gears or just a loos fixing letting the timing slip back a bit,

NECCHI 537l manual & thread guide

You can purchase a copy of the Necchi 537L manual as either a PDF download or a printed manual here: https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/instruction-manual-necchi-537-l.aspx? . There are several online guides for threading Necchi machines. These may help. However I don't know how different the leather and lace 537 is from other Necchi machines. The manual will have the threading diagrams.

I hope this helps .

How do I wind a bobbin?

Actually, $10 for a manual is probably a valuable investment. It will not only help you with threading & winding the bobbin but also with maintenance and care of your machine and as well as how to use your machine. Similar brand machines thread and wind the bobbin in the same manner. So, even finding a similar Necchi and the bobbin winding method should be helpful.

Try this web site:

May not have your exact machine but one may be similar enough so you can thread your machine properly.

Necchi 4825 bobbin winding problems

Or stop by the local fabric store (or even Amazon online) and pick up a standalone bobbin winder for about $25 US. You can wind all your bobbins on the little unit and not subject your machine to additional wear and tear.

I need an instruction manual for the Necchi Model 537L. My 87 year old mother cannot find the manual. Also, could you tell me what that Model is worth? Thank you

You can purchase a copy of the manual for $10 Here. As for valuation, this is a bit more tricky. Most Necchi's (at least the collectibles) are Italian made. The 537L was made in Japan. There isn't a great demand for this machine nor is it considered highly collectible. You'd be hard pressed to sell it for enough to buy a new machine. If you use sewing machine's I'd suggest keeping it. It was a solid machine. Otherwise, check craigslist and see what other working used machines are going for. I've seen the 537L go for $50.

I need to know how to thread my machine NECCHI Model 537L Necchi 537L I need to see & know how to thread the top thread on this used one I bought, I've ordered a manual, but I need to sew NOW - anyone...

TTN tension, take up, needle.
Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.( If you load your bobbin case from the left side, the needle rule is normally FLAT to the RIGHT is RIGHT. There are some exceptions. If you have a newer style drop in bobbin or your bobbin case loads in the front then the rule is FLAT to the BACK.
