The machine, based on the error code, is made by Frigidaire for Kenmore. Error code E20 pertains to a slow or no drain problem which can be due to a clogged/kinked drain hose, blocked drain filter/coin trap, or a broken drain pump. The link below provides the detailed troubleshooting procedure of this error code.
Goto http://www.frigidaire.com/manuals and download the model wiring diagram. It will explain how to view and interpret additional error codes. I have the exact same issue with my machine (will not spin). The error code #E47 indicates that the machine thinks the door is open and will not engage spin. Fixes: new door switch ($85) or new control board ($285).
first try the simple step, unplug unit for 60 secounds, then replug unit back up. reset load and see if that works. let me know if I can be of further assistance.
I too had the same problem, I closed the soap tray and a magnet popped out and got stuck to the door. Same problem with it acting like it was going to start and then beeped. This is where the magnet goes, just stick it back in, its held in with pressure (barely) :)
I took the whole control panel off to locate the magnetic reed switch, then just reverse engineered where the magnet is supposed to go on the soap drawer.
